Dr Ajayi to serve as a member of International Committee for the organisation of INCON-MFPA Technology 2018

December 8, 2017

The 1st International Conference and Integrated Meeting titled "Prospective of Medical, Food, Pharma and Agro Technology: From Health to Wealth and Future Challenges" organsed by the Deen Dayal Upadhyay Kaushal Kendra of the Banaras Hindu University held from 27 to 28 February, 2018 at the LT Complex, Rajiv Gandhi South Campus, Barkachha, Mirzapur.

In his Goodwill Message, delivered by Dr Charles Adetunji, a Visiting Lecturer at the Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, India, Dr Ajayi joined to pay tribute to the Father of Indian DNA Fingerprinting (1947-2017), Late Prof. Lalji Singh, the Former Vice Chancelor, Banaras Hindu University, Varansi, who he met during his predoctoral research at the Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology (CCMB), Hyderabad in 2012. He also congratulated the Convenor, Dr Ratna Shankar Mishra and the Organising Secretary, Dr Raghvendra Raman Mishra and their team for gathering erudite scholars and researchers from across all the continents of the world for the conference. He said it gave him great joy to be a member of the International Organizing Committee for this International Conference, and as someone who prides himself as a teacher and story teller, he is very enthused to welcome the participants to the epoch-making event, where they all have come to both tell and listen to the stories of our scientific endeavors and proud milestones.

The participants have submitted the best of their current research findings to the abstracts (for
publication in the book of abstracts), full length papers (for publication in selected journals), and chapter
contributions (for publication by Springer Publishers). He noted that the conference promised a very rich opportunity for the cross-fertilization of ideas, for networking, collaboration, future opportunities for training, education and research with other promising groups. He then requested the participants to enjoy every bit of the inaugural lecture, the plenary and parallel sessions; to feel free to contribute, ask questions, interact, meet new associates, make friends and find ways to grow the science communities beyond borders. He closed by urging them to enjoy the splendor and serenity of the conference location, and of the religious city of Varanasi;  the hospitality of India, his delightsome second country.

The abstract presented "Emerging dichlorvos-based air freshener pertube kidney function in male albino rats" (IL-3, Page 3 of the Book of Abstracts), was the outcome of the 2015/2016 BSc research of Babalola Tobi E., Onilejin Akeem O. and Idrees Monsurat O., with collaboration from Dr Bunmi J. Adetunji (Biochemistry Department, UNIOSUN) and Dr Monsuru A. Adeleke (Microbiology Department, UNIOSUN).
